This movie is about a young girl named Nora whose mother, Dolores, has a nervous breakdown after a car crash kills three of her children. At one point, Dolores, played by Patricia, attempts suicide and is hospitalized. Nora is then sent to live with her aunt, and later lives with her father while trying to cope with the responsibilities of growing up.
